We’re proud to have brought lululemon Scuba™ Movement Theater to life — a stage where movement, style, and celebration converged. From concept to execution, our team curated every beat of the experience, inviting every guest to step into the cheer squad and amplify the energy together.

On the afternoon of September 12th, the event kicked off at the Hangzhou World Tourism Expo Hall, with the event theme “Cheer for yourself”. Over 300 guests joined us for an afternoon of cheering and including KOLs, media, athletes, and celebrities.

Guests arrived at the Welcome Plaza to a vibrant performance by a marching band and cheerleaders, setting the tone of celebration from the very first step.

From there, they were guided into the Cheer Garden, where interactive stations invited everyone to take part — from hairstyling stations with ribbons and bows, to DIY workshops where guests could create their own pompoms, bracelets, necklaces, and cheer pins.

Before entering the Movement Theater, guests walked through a specially designed locker room filled with various lululemon products and special lockers displaying the OOTDs of each celebrity guest. Modern, minimal product displays highlighted lululemon’s unique features and design details.

After the locker rooms, guests stepped into the main event space — a large dome with the iconic lululemon logo at the centre, formed as a giant gym mat and surrounded by a grandstand.

Four university cheerleading teams, including Guangxi Normal University, Xihua University, Wuhan Sports University, and Huaihua University, were invited to showcase their own unique cheerleading performances together with special celebrity guests.

World Champion synchronised swimmers Wang Liuyi & Wang Qianyi delivered a stunning opening performance with a special dance performance, reliving their Paris victory with precision and artistry.

Another pair of World Champion sisters Lin Yanhan & Lin Yanjun lit up the stage with perfectly synchronised movement, moving in rhythm and radiating energy.

Actor and singer Dong Sicheng energised the crowd with a dynamic flag dance, blending power and flow seamlessly.

Actress Xia Meng brought playful flair, leading the marching band and cheerleading team as cheers and drumbeats carried the energy higher.

Closing the show, lululemon’s brand ambassador and music artist Amber Liu owned the stage, pushing the energy to its peak and igniting a celebration.

From start to finish, the stage pulsed with collective energy. Together, we designed not just a performance — but a living, breathing celebration of movement.

As lululemon’s first large-scale event was inspired by the concept of cheerleading, we wanted to encourage everyone to move freely and cheer for themselves! By hosting a Cheerleading Show, the Scuba™ Squad made a special appearance with vibrant and energetic cheerleading performances, energising and inspiring the crowd.
