VOK DAMS China partnered with Porsche to create the brand’s first-ever pop-up space in Asia, right in the heart of Shanghai’s Huaihai Middle Road. Blending garage culture with Shanghai flair, the immersive experience turned a temporary space into a new city landmark, celebrating the “Irreplaceable” spirit of Porsche.
Designing the space where heritage meets innovation
Located inside the Xiangyang Park, the event represents the first VOK DAMS transformed Porsche’s racing legacy into a living experience. Inspired by the duality of Shanghai—classic and contemporary—the design connected Porsche’s past and future across two floors. The ground level echoed garage culture with sculptural car displays, café corners and interactive touchpoints. Upstairs, vivid lighting and reflective installations highlighted the evolution of design and color through “Dream Walk” and “Dream in Colours.” Every detail, from architecture to ambience, was curated to make visitors feel part of Porsche’s ongoing story.
Where design meets experience: the exhibits come alive.
Among the highlights curated within the pop-up were legendary Porsche models, each representing a milestone in design evolution. From the 356 “No.1” and the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 to the electric Macan and Taycan, the collection embodied Porsche’s journey from hand-crafted precision to modern innovation. VOK DAMS ensured that the exhibition did more than display cars—it created emotional encounters. Through lighting, sound, and spatial rhythm, each model became a living story of passion and performance, capturing Porsche’s timeless allure in a new cultural context.
