In April of 2019, Volkswagen China approached the VOK DAMS China team with a simple yet far reaching brief: to create a brand event to launch the next era of Volkswagen in China and the world.

VOK DAMS China was tasked with creating a 5 day Brand Experience event including Media Days, Public and Internal days to communicate and introduce this massive new milestone in Volkswagen’s plan for the future. Spent nearly a year designing the concept, with a mix of local and international team members and support staff.

  • To create a new experience for a New Brand Design, we created 360 degree immersive environments for our Brand Workshops, where every element communicated our message to guests.
  • Our Green Playground activation showcases Volkswagen’s vision of the near future – an environment where everything generates clean green power.
  • The Reset Room, a wraparound AV experience, shows guests the transformation from a brand of the past, to a brand of the future.
  • The New Volkswagen Lounge had a fun and exciting beach theme – complete with an ID. Buggy, an ID. Buzz sand sculpture, and a real sandy beach!
